Taranganba State School is extremely well equiped to engage with various Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths lessons (STEM). Students are fortunate to have access to various Lego robotic technologies, Spheros, BeeBots, MicroBits, coding interfaces and 3D printers.
Taranganba also runs an extension STEM program for students during break times. Students in this STEM club often compete at different coding and robotic challenges including the Premier's Coding Challenge and CQ Robo Cup. Over the previous few years, Taranganba State School students have performed extremely well with various teams placing in the top three in our region.
Additionally, students that are part of the STEM extension program are invited to attend the 3 day STEM camp at Konomie Island Environmental Education Centre.
